Why Steve Jobs’ Keynote for WWDC 2007 Sucked

At this year’s WWDC keynote, Steve Jobs pointed out ten great features of the upcoming Leopard OS. Well I thought I’d take a slightly different tack and point the ten things I didn’t like about Jobs’ keynote.

Now come on, admit it…there were things that you didn’t like about this keynote either. So I’ll list my ten and then you can list yours in the forum. Together we’re bound to come up with a few tips for good old Steve for next year’s show.

10. More iPhone Blather - Is anybody besides me sick to death of hearing about the all-powerful, super-duper, mega-stupendous freaking iPhone? Give it a rest, Steve. Okay? Just stop. Everybody knows about the stupid iPhone and we’re all sick of hearing about it, especially those of us who don’t live in areas that have good AT&T service. By picking just one carrier, you screwed over lots of potential customers. The next time I use my crappy Verizon phone, I’ll be sure to remember that.

9. No iMacs – Before the show, rumors were flying around the net that there were going to be some cool, new iMacs introduced at this show. Now we all know the Apple rumor mill’s reliability is spotty at best but it’s almost as if Apple doesn’t give a damn about one of its most important products. According to the rumors, there’s clearly something going on in Cupertino related to the iMac but Jobs didn’t have the decency to share even a tidbit with us. Talk about stingy, Steve!
