iPhone Review
If you’ve been reading my columns each week then you know that I’ve had quite a few things to say about Apple’s new iPhone 3G and few of them were complements. In fact, I’d resolved never to buy it for a bunch of reasons I spelled out in The Dracula Phone and Ten Reasons Why I Won’t Buy the 3G iPhone.
Here’s a quick recap of those reasons:
- Increased monthly fees.
- Charges for basic text messaging.
- Inefficient battery life while running 3G and GPS.
- Camera not upgraded.
- No video camera.
- No significant storage upgrade.
Those are just a few of the reasons but they give you the general idea of what I thought of the iPhone 3G. Basically, I thought it sucked and it wasn’t worth upgrading to if you were already an iPhone Classic owner.
So what the heck happened? How did I change my mind and end-up with an iPhone 3G?
