Steve Jobs: Too Cheap To Buy A New Wardrobe?
Last week was Apple’s big “Let’s Rock” event and I had some thoughts to share about it. I held off commenting until I had some time to actually use some of the stuff that Apple released at the show (especially iTunes 8 and the HD TV shows).
Usually when Apple does one of these things the big story is about a technology product of one kind or another. Yes, there were certainly some interesting product news to share at the event (and I’ll get to those in due course) but there was something far more important to talk about:
Steve Jobs’ clothes.
If Janet Jackson had a “wardrobe malfunction” then it’s clear that Steve Jobs has been in wardrobe meltdown for years and has finally arrived at the need for a wardrobe intervention. Are you listening Apple PR people? The head of your company has a clothes problem and somebody at Apple needs to get a hold of Jobs’ wife and get her to intervene.
