Why Hasn’t Mythic Released Warhammer Online for the Mac?
Mythic makes a huge error by not being in the Mac gaming market
As I’m sure most of you know already, a brand new MMO has just been released. Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning has been one of the most talked about and eagerly anticipated games of the last few years. Some are already calling it a World of Warcraft Killer as it has finally brought some real competition to WOW and is the first viable alternative for players who have had enough of WOW.
There’s just one problem with Warhammer Online though…there’s no Mac version! Yep, that’s right. Somewhere along the way in its development Mythic Entertainment -Â the company who makes WAR – decided that they simply couldn’t be bothered doing a Mac version. Unlike Blizzard or Maxis who both released Mac versions of World of Warcraft and Spore, Mythic did not.
This sort of overlooking of Mac gamers is not wise in this day and age. Given the sheer coolness and fantastically amazing stuff in Warhammer Online it seems clear that Mythic’s decision not to release it for the Mac is cheating Mac gamers out of some great fun and it’s probably cheating Mythic out of some great money.

He does know a lot about the gaming business, and yes, despite the “AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!” cries from many WOW-douchebag-fanboy-jackoff idiots here, Warhammer is a very successful and sustainable game. Don’t pay much attention to the loudmouthed contingent that loves to comment negative belches of nothing on EVERY Warhammer-related post…………
