Fart Wars: iFart Mobile Versus the Ultimate Fart Machine

Flatulence is a universal thing. We all pass gas because we’re human and when we’re not doing it then we’re getting ready to do it by consuming more food and having that food do its thing in our digestive system. So it’s no surprise that flatulence has arrived with a vengeance on the iPhone, iPhone 3G and iPod Touch. Some of the most popular apps on the app store are fart apps and I’ve already covered a few of them in full reviews on my iPhone Software Reviews Blog.

While there are many fart apps out now for the iPhone, in this column I’m going to take a look at two of the best farting apps ever created: iFart Mobile and the Ultimate Fart Machine. We’ll see if both apps…er…cut it or if they fail to measure up.

iFart Mobile
iFart Mobile, as I write this column, is the #1 paid app in the app store. Yup, a fart app is at the top of the charts. I’m not sure what that says about about iPhone/iPod Touch owners specifically or perhaps it’s just a general statement about people. Be that as it may, iFart Mobile is a heck of a popular app that includes the following kinds of farts (among others):
